Printed by Us is a Social enterprise that employs people who have experienced homelessness to overcome adversities in a supported environment

Project Overview

Overview provided by crowdfunder.co.uk

The Archer Project has a proven history of transforming the lives of the vulnerable and homeless from Sheffield and the wider region. We are integral to the community of ostracised people who most need help and understanding. We give vulnerable people the tools to rebuild their lives. The aid and support given follow individuals in their journey through to regaining the confidence and ability to volunteer or enter employment. As a charity, we constantly adapt and learn to ensure that the best possible support is delivered to those who come to us for help.

Printed By Us is one of our most valued parts of our Charity. It is a social enterprise that employs people who have experienced homelessness and overcome similar adversities in a supported environment. We believe there is hope and a way forward for every person. We give opportunities for vulnerable people to learn new skills, build confidence and thrive within their work and home environment.

We run workshops to teach vulnerable people the craft of hand screen printing. We employ individuals with lived experience to print small batches of unique Art prints designed by some the finest local creatives. We then sell these exclusive art prints, mugs, t-shirts and sweaters, primarily via our retail unit & online shop. We also offer a custom printing service to organisations who need high quality printing on excellent quality, ethically-made garments. We are crowdfunding to raise money for our equipment costs. The money raised will go towards allowing us to continue offering supported employment opportunities to vulnerable people while teaching new skills and crafts.

Sight Life Visually Impaired Photographers

Sight Life photography group, composed of blind and partially sighted individuals, has developed into a vibrant and creative community over the years. The members of this group have not only found a powerful means of self-expression through photography but have also produced works of exceptional quality that have been displayed at various exhibitions across Cardiff.

The Send Dynamic

Our aim is that parents of children with SEND will be empowered to understand their children’s rights and how to navigate the SEND education, health, and care system. We don’t want to reinvent the wheel and will always signpost you to other free services where they exist. We aim to make sure that everyone knows where to go for the best information and advice that is impartial and free.

WellChild Community helping hands project

We are delighted to announce that WellChild’s next Community Helping Hands Project will be delivered at the Llandough Children’s Assessment Centre (LCAC), which is part of the University Hospital Llandough.
